Trump Says US Wages Are Too Low, One Month After Saying They Are Too High

The template for making American great apparently change frequently. NRO’s Jim Geraghty caught Donald Trump in his latest flip-flop:

But Trump felt differently in November. From NRO are three different statements in Trump interviews.

During the November 10 debate:

But, taxes too high, wages too high, we’re not going to be able to compete against the world

November 10 on MSNBC’s Morning Joe:

Our taxes are too high. Our wages are too high. Everything’s too high. We have to compete with other countries.

November 12 on Fox and Friends:

Our taxes are too high. Our wages are too high. Everything’s too high. We have to compete with other countries.

How can you flip-flop from wages are too high to wages are too low? Or vice versa?

About Bob Sikes

A long time ago and a planet far, far away I was an athletic trainer for the New York Mets. I was blessed to be part of the now legendary 1986 World Series Championship. My late father told me that I'd one day be thankful I had that degree in teaching from Florida State University. He was right and I became twice blesses to become a teacher in the late 1990's. After dabbling with writing about the Mets and then politics, I settled on education.
