Is Donald Trump Drunk Tweeting?

If so, Jeb Bush’s press secretary had the perfect smackdown:

Lets take a look at a couple of Trump’s nonsense:

Trump is maintaining his pattern of re-Tweeting what  followers are telling him. Scathing Purple Musings reported two days ago that Trump is using what his followers are telling him as talking points in interviews. From a Colin Campbell story in Business Insider regarding Trey Gowdy’s endorsement of Marco Rubio:

I’ve been seeing on Twitter many, many people extremely angry about the whole thing. Because, you know, Marco’s been very strong for amnesty and very weak at the border. And a lot of people are very upset with Trey Gowdy for doing that,” Trump said.

Trump is Twitter trolling his way to the nomination right now. Perhaps the Trump game plan is really that simple. Get liquored up at night and send out some outrageous Tweets. Producers from the major networks blow up the phones of Trump’s handlers and he gets face time on the morning shows and Trump controls the day’s media cycle.

And he doesn’t even need interns for that.

About Bob Sikes

A long time ago and a planet far, far away I was an athletic trainer for the New York Mets. I was blessed to be part of the now legendary 1986 World Series Championship. My late father told me that I'd one day be thankful I had that degree in teaching from Florida State University. He was right and I became twice blesses to become a teacher in the late 1990's. After dabbling with writing about the Mets and then politics, I settled on education.
